DECEMBER News

Hello all. Busy times ahead: finally finished the story/layout for The Wizard and the Hat, so I will be starting the final pages soon. I will be at the University of Edinburgh Christmas Craft Fair in Potterow on the 11th of December (10 am -4 pm), come by if you are in the area. Also, this month the second Issue of Shoreline of Infinity (for which I drew the cover) is on sale. In 2016 I plan to be at several things: Dunfermline Comic Con, Edinburgh Comic Con, Dee Con and Glasgow Zine Fest (a lot of places!). Lastly, various new items are kicking about in the shop; use SAVE10 when checking out (until Christmas) to save some money on orders of 10 pounds or more. Happy Holidays & Happy New Year

NOVEMBER News

Hello all, November is here already! You can find my Rififi Filmposter at the Edinburgh Filmhouse this month, while my 400 Blows poster is in the AOI World Illustration Awards Catalogue. Otherwise, I finalised my children's book story, The Wizard and the Hat, with the help of the amazing book author Vivian French. Currently working on the layout of the book. The science fiction magazine Shoreline of Infinity is launching its second Issue soon as well, for which I made the front cover. Busy days ahead but it's nice to keep busy! Take care, Sara.

OCTOBER News

I now have a Patreon (click here), where you can support me, inspire me and add to my creative process and my art! You also get access to top secret sketches and development work. In other news, The Wizard and the Hat project is in full swing, and it's a lot of fun. In addition I am making a poster for the fantastic 1955 gangster film called Du Rififi chez les hommes. It should be exhibited at the Edinburgh Filmhouse for the French Film Festival soon! Lastly, see all my Inktober (daily ink sketches during october) updates on my Instagram: swisschocolateart. UPDATE!

Hello all! Had a great (though busy) weekend at Glasgow MCM selling art. A huge thank you to everyone who was nice to me/bought stuff. Exciting things happening soon; I'm working on more art for the second issue of Shoreline of Infinity, a lovely Scottish SciFi Magazine. I'll also be taking part in Inktober, which means I will be making an ink drawing daily every day of October (look out for all of them on my Instagram, swisschocolateart). Plus, of course, embarking on my huge project called The Wizard and the Hat, a short story for which there will be a lot of concept art in the next few months! Take care, Sara.

SEPTEMBER News

Hello! Very excited to be at Glasgow MCM from the 26th to the 27th of September (Find me at table CJ9)! In other news, I've been developing a short story called The Wizard and the Hat and am very excited to flesh out the setting, characters and props with a lot of concept art in the coming weeks/months. It is geared towards 9-12 year old children and set in a medieval, steampunk city inspired both by Edinburgh and Hayao Miyazaki films. Hi there! Here some things happening this month: I've been shortlisted for the AOI World Illustration Awards (Category: New Talent, Design & Advertising), added new items to my Etsy shop and am still working on a mini Greeky Myth comic about Persephone.
